The difference with this laptop video card is that it will accept S-Video (Y/C, in addtion to a composite phono input. It automatically senses PAL for the UK market, or equally will switch to NTSC, should the need arise.
You can then use your laptop to veiw from any compatible video source, then record still BMP or variable compression JPEG images. Video at upto 15 frames per second can also be recorded.
Full image adjustments can be made, using the supplied suftware, applying changes to contrast, Brightness, Saturation and Hue, if required.
