Vision Engineering's Peregrine 300 empowers users with options of optical and/or video measurement, providing the ability to perform high accuracy optical measurements for difficult-to-view subjects and critical parts, or higher volume video measurements for high contrast subjects and batch routines.
With a 150mm x 100mm measuring stage, Peregrine 300 is ideal for measuring 2D features of small intricate parts. The stage is gimbal mounted to ensure critical parallel positioning and has factory-installed non-linear error correction (NLEC) calibration to ensure optimum accuracy, traceable to NPL/NAMAS/NIST standards for the purposes of ISO9000. Combined with 1mm resolution measuring encoders, this provides a system repeatability of 5mm for complete confidence in your results. From simple manual, single-feature operation to multi-point video edge detection measurements, Peregrine 300 combines amazing simplicity with high accuracy and repeatability for a wide range of measuring applications. Utilising Vision Engineering's patented Dynascope technology to provide enhanced surface definition for accurate and simple measurement, the superb optical clarity also allows detailed visual inspection to be performed simultaneously. Users even have the ability to switch between optical and video measurement within the same measuring routine. Data processing is performed by the QC-300 multi-function microprocessor, ideal for measuring common component features, such as circles, angles, lines, arcs and distances and has been designed with ease of operation in mind.
QC-300 Quadra-Chek digital readouts and metrology software are the premier systems for the measurement and inspection of 2D geometric components. A QC-300 video microprocessor is the standard control interface on the Peregrine 300, providing a powerful combination to empower operators along every step of the measurement process. It features a powerful and intuitive interface which be used by shift workers or advanced users alike. The high resolution touch-screen colour display is exceptionally easy to use and ensures operator accuracy with minimal training time.
Facilities include, switch from simple crosshair measurement to automatic video measurement detection for form measurement outside the field of view, part programming and the ability to obtain essential intersection and construction results and geometric tolerancing. Image capture and analysis in j.peg format to internal memory of USB port allows for image editing with text and measurement data whilst the patented Measure Magic feature enables operators to inspect multiple features without taking their eyes off the part, increasing throughput, improving accuracy and reducing user fatigue.
