We are quite happy to cater for the "one off" reactive single visit, in order to repair, upgrade or calibrate an instrument. However most customers, choose to take out one of our annual maintenance contracts, providing many benefits, including:

We have a large inventory of new consumable spare parts and also probably, one of the largest stocks of components and spares for Non Contact Measuring instruments no longer in manufacture, such as Mondos, Maxtascan, Metronics etc. In some cases reconditioned parts are also available and can be supplied to reduce costs, or when components are no longer in manufacture. To minimise instrument down time, exchange or loan units can be supplied when available and every effort is made to get your instrument back in working order as soon as possible. All work can be carried out onsite, alternatively, reducing travel costs, instruments can be returned to our in house workshop. Calibrations, where appropriate, are carried out onsite using only UKAS accredited artefacts. These include both simple glass scales and also glass grids and 3D carbide step blocks. This allows not only simple two axis linear corrections to be carried out, but also full 3 axis verifications using non linear or volumetric corrections.
Most importantly, in all cases, every effort is made to correct instrument errors, when they exceed, or are approaching recommended permissible limits.
In other words we don't just report errors, whenever possible we always endeavour to correct your instrument back to the original manufactured specification, then report residual inaccuracies.
