The BM6 is a very high quality, superb value for money microscope suitable for most biological slide mounted specimens.
A binocular model with a modern inclined Siedentopf head, it is fully equipped with adjustable interpupillary distance and diopter adjustment ensuring the most comfortable viewing position possible. Every microscope is supplied with a pair of widefield10X eyepieces with the option of reticules or pointers to aid measurement and teaching.The eyepieces are mounted in the binocular head. The head can be rotated to any position and has inclined eyepiece tubes.
The main body is an all metal, robust construction with stylish, modern curves. The paint finish is tough and easy to clean, ideal for teaching environments.
Built into the main body is the revolving nosepiece which supports 4 objectives. The objectives supplied are high quality with exceptional performance and optical clarity delivered by the achromatic objectives. You also get a professional mechanical stage ideal for those high magnification searches.
Illumination is provided through a powerful LED lamp which is extremely durable, has a very long life, very low temperature and takes a fraction of the power of a halogen lamp. To ensure optimum resolution the high numerical aperture condenser delivers an perfect cone of light to the objectives.
Due to it's simple and robust nature, it is also particularly suited to field work and can be supplied with a rugged travel case as an option.
