Excellent value entry level stereo with a range of accessories.

This ergonomic microscope includes high quality objectives whose clarity and brightness produce outstanding results. Good depth of field and a robust design make this ideal for manipulation tasks, such as electronics re work and manual placement of components onto PCB'S.

The industrial range of boom stands and long working distance reducing odjectives also make it great for shop floor inspection of precision metal and plastic parts.

The SMZ40T includes a zoom range encompassing 0.7x - 4.2x magnifications. With the standard 10x widefield objectives this gives a total magnification range of 7X - 42X. This range can be enhanced with optional auxiliary objectives and different eyepieces to give a total range spanning 3.5X to 210X.
The microscope is equipped with conveniently positioned zoom and focus control knobs.

When purchase with the optional bench stand, the integrated illumination in the base and incident illuminator make this microscope a versatile tool for all types of biological and materials laboratories..
