The Ultracam is pretty unique, not only in its build quality, but also its accessories. Not just the usual contact and non contact lenses, but also using the robust magnetic snap on fixing, endoscope sleeves, flexible and rigid, extending its capability still further.
The main camera control unit provides not only the camera controls and power, but also illumination, via the integrated halogen lamp. Light is transmitted via a bundle of fibre guides, providing cool shadowfree illumination.
