A horizontal floor-standing profile projector with exceptional accuracy

The HF750 profile projector has all the same exemplary build standards as the HF600, but with the benefit of an even larger 762mm diameter screen, setting a benchmark for levels of clarity and brightness.

The Starrett HF750 is a super large capacity floor standing horizontal profile projector designed to measure small to large work pieces. The optional 2 lens turret system allows easy switching between different lens magnifications or Inserting the optional OV2 or TOV2 Video Camera System converting the comparator into a video metrology system.  

Designed to be used across a broad range of industries and precision applications, the HF750 profile projector can be found in aerospace, automotive, and other precision manufacturing sites, offering exceptionally accurate measuring and inspection capabilities. 

It uses 2D measurement software for geometries like diameters, radius, angles, lines, points, and for skew correction and is also available with MetLogix™  M2, M2E or M3 PC-based touch screen measuring software or Mx-Series digital readout system. Advanced software provides many tools such as CAD file import, CAD data export for reverse engineering, standard and custom reports, and Ethernet networking.

It has a fully usable large 762mm diameter screen with precision cross lines, overlay clips and integral hood. The precision measuring stage is controlled by linear glass scale encoders with 0.5μm resolution on both X and Y axes. The travel range is  300mm X-axis x 200mm Y-axis and the 630 x 230mm top plate has a weight capacity of 150Kg with machined slots for easy fixturing. A full CNC option is available for the stage. The LED profile and surface  illumination fitted as standard provides exceptional bright and clear illumination. 

Upgrades include edge detection, precision centres and vees, magnification check graticule, fixed or rotary 32mm vice and universal rotary vee block.
