These can tolerate the bend!
Whilst semi rigid endoscopes appear identical, the image is transmitted via a quartz bundle of up to 12,000 fibres, each only a few microns in diameter. This allows the endoscope image shaft to tolerate bending, way beyond that of a glass rod rigid endoscope. With diameters as small as 0.6mm and lengths up to 3000mm, they allow even the most challenging components to be inspected – robustly and repeatedly.
The Optimax range of miniature endoscopes have a huge range of viewing angles. Viewing tubes can be flexible, thin wall stainless steel or polymer flexible outer; both are fully sealed against most industrial fluids, fuels and liquids. All have eyepiece focus from 5mm – infinity and orbital shaft rotation is an option via micro tubes.
Designed for heavy duty, daily use, with minimal servicing. UK manufactured and fully repairable, should the worst ever happen.
