Optivu Replication Fluid Microset
Fast-curing Microset replicating fluid compound
Microset replicating fluid is ideal for component and surface replication down to sub-micron levels. The two-part silicone polymer is designed to replicate surfaces, cavities, tubes and threaded holes. Replicas can also be made in any shape or size accuracy over the entire replica surface. With a 0.1 micron accuracy the fluid can be used for most applications.
Replication fluids are used to detect surface damage and measure surface finish during the manufacture process, improve quality control of internal surfaces and dimension, detect cracks and for metallography applications. Microset replication fluids are used where conventional NDT methods are impractical.
Three Microset application systems are available, 50ml, 265ml and 495ml. Each application system delivers a fully mixed free-flowing replicating compound directly to the area of interest. The compound cures to produce a highly accurate, flexible replica of the surface.
